Alloying tungsten produces a high density machinable material with a low coefficient of thermal expansion. High tungsten content alloys achieve thermal expansion values that match Kovar but with four times better thermal conductivity. Our flexible manufacturing process can make parts up to 8” in diameter without the need for expensive tooling.
